| Bought this camera & the first time I tried it in the sea, after following all the advice in the manual, it switched off while I was snorkelling & will not switch on again, a few people I know who have the same camera noticed the same problem, while different underwater makes have had no problems in sea water. I would NOT recommend this product to any one for use in sea water. |

| What a great little camera, fantastic, clear 12 mega pixel photos and it doesn't matter if I drop it or get it wet. I really enjoyed taking photos on a really wet day on holiday when all the other tourists had to hide their cameras away as they wanted to protect them from the rain. Simple and effective |

This camera is easy to use once you have the knack of it. (I previously owned an Olympus camera so I already had a grasp or the basics.)
This camera has a feature for every occasion. It even has a 'Beauty' shot setting in which you take a picture of someone and it instantly automatically scans the image and reduces blemishes. Its almost like having an auto Photoshop on it!

Had this for 3 weeks now. Used while skiing and it takes good, clear photos. Not used it in the water yet.
I almost returned this as the sound recording on the video function is pretty poor. I gather it may have something to do with the waterproofing but it was disappointing. I kept it as I like the waterproof option and will just live with poor sound or use my video camera more.
Good if you don't take too many videos.
Good battery life.

We bought this camera primarily because it is waterproof (up to 3m). Well, not only is it brilliant for use on holiday in the pool and beach... The opportunity to take pictures of the whole family in and around the pool and beach without having to worry about getting the camera wet, is just fantastic. Underwater pictures add a whole new element to your holiday picture album. And the best thing of all... it takes excellent 'normal' pictures too!
The camera is a joy to use, and really simple to operate, making it easy to get great pictures time and time again. The LCD screen is clear and bright, even in sunlight.
This camera has replaced our other compact camera for all occassions. Highly recommended. |
